Felix was the eighth child and born in Jellico where he grew up. He worked as a electric lineman for Jellico utilities and then moved to Akron, Ohio where he worked for Consolidated Edison. He served in the Army during World War II. He never married although he lived with Ruth Moses Widener his brother's ex wife. He did not have children
